    Batch file:

I wrote the following batch file to backup my investment files to a zip, the "e" drive. I have a partitioned hard drive with all my working files on the "d" drive and program files on the "c" drive. The "MyDocuments" folder on the desktop is a shortcut to the "MyDocuments" folder on the "d" drive.

    d:
    cdmyducmentsinvest~1
    copy/-Y *.* e:invest~1

It's grabbing files from the "mydocuments" folder and copying them to the appropriate location on the zip. It's not following the path into the "investments" folder as I desire.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is "MyDocuments" misspelled in the real batch file?

    Legare,

That was an easy fix. Appreciate the help.
