    Delete Cell Contents (97 SR2)

I don't want to change the structure of my database, but I've got over 12,000 rows of data, and am looking for a simple way to append the data.

Essentially, I'm looking for a simple way to check a given column for entities, and deleting all duplicates found, without changing the layout of the cells.

    Any Ideas?

Your message in hard to understand.

You say you have a database and you are happy with its structure, but you want to append data to it. Well how are you getting the data? If you are pasting the data go to the last cell in say Column A, and paste it there.

I hope I have you a way to do it, knowing that I did not understand your message, I doubt it.

Do you want to append or delete duplicates?

If you are appending, where is the data coming from? Are you looking to check the data you are appending for duplicates before appending?

If you are deleting duplicating duplicates, is the data sorted? When you find a duplicate do you want to delete the contents of the cell and leave a empty cell? Do you want to delete the row the data is in, and if so which of the two rows?

We need a much better description of what you want to do.
