    I have always used OE, and don't know anything about Microsoft Outlook. Does it have advantages over OE?

    Outlook and Outlook Express are very different, for an idea of the differences see Outlook versus Outlook Express - Microsoft Office Online, that article refers to Outlook 2003, but is still relevant for more recent versions of Outlook.
