I have a computer that had a trial copy of Office 2007 installed on it along with Office 2003. I can't get Office 2007 entirely uninstalled. I've tried using CCleaner and Revo's uninstall utilities and I've tried this page ( http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928218) as well and I still have bits and pieces of Office 2007 gumming things up. Specifically, the first time you run Word or Excel after rebooting it Windows installer runs and installs something. Any suggestions?

How to manually uninstall 2007 Office System

If that doesn't work I would go into Safe Mode and run Revo from there.

Make sure that there's nothing pertaining to Office 2007 in the Startup folder (All Programs / Startup). If there is, delete it.

Also, try to uninstall it under "Add or remove programs".
