    Hi there,

Column C of the attached spreadsheet is currently in Percentage format. Here's the code behind cell C2, which currently reads 1.68%:

    =SUM((A2*B2)*0.01)
When I change the format to Currency, 1.68% becomes $0.02.

When I change the format to General, 1.68% becomes 0.01678997.

Can anyone help me so that 1.68% becomes $1.68?

    Thanks so much.

The easiest way would be to put the number 100 in a spare cell on the worksheet, select it, press Ctrl-C to copy it, then hightlight the range in question and do a Paste Special, Mulitply

... or maybe just remove the *0.01 constant from your Sum formula

Thanks, Steve! Removing the *0.01 did the trick.
