Edited by dansy on 21-Sep-01 14:29.
A simple question I hope , where are the rules for what terminates a Sentence or Paragraph in Word documented. While obviously a period (.) ends a Sentence object, Word is clever enough to determine if a number with a decimal place is in the Sentence and allow for that but seems to behave a little eratically where carriage returns/line feeds are concerned.

--- I should add that I am utilising the Sentences and Paragraph objects in VBA/VB within O97.
I am just looking for consistency (a very big ask for Word 97 in my experience ) in the way it behaves and this means I need a better understanding of the rules MS have defined.

Any pointers to suitable documentation would be appreciated.
