What anti-virus and anti-malware programs do you run? Have you run them to see if Geoclean.bat shows up? There are many references to this as being spy/malware. GEOCLEAN.BAT
he filename GEOCLEAN.BAT refers to many versions of a driver.
Web Of Trust gives Prevx home page with free scan a GREEN rating.

I just noticed that a good friend of mine uses Prevx along side of her other anti-virus and that is good enough for me. (She paid for the full version)

    UPDATE: CNet review of Prevx

"...We were pleased with the ease and readability of Prevx--until we tried to rid our computer of the offenses it identified. We were then told we'd need to purchase a license to clean up our infections, and therefore we can't say how quickly or effectively it did this duty. We appreciated its layout and scanning, but we were unable to get the full picture of its effectiveness...."

I did d/l the free version and loved the ease and intuitive feel for the program. My system came back "clear" which I knew it would, but I have discovered that it will show you if you have infections, but in order to remove them you must pay.

One further note: At the bottom of the first link it says, " The filename GEOCLEAN.BAT refers to many versions of a driver." If you Google Geoclean.bat driver you get Geoclean.bat driver google

Im not saying in any way that this could be an issue.

I just happened to run across this and wanted to make sure that you bookmark it in case it could be an issue later

Has the error resurfaced on subsiquent reboots ??

That would tend to indicate there might be a problem to address. If not, it was probably just a one time glitch.

    Thanks all of you

I run AVG and it came up that I was clean.

    I also have Zonealarm

When I started the computer up today there was not Geoclean.bat menu

Yes I google it all I got was a number of people asking the same question as me.

Every thing seems to be working OK, for now any way, but I will keep my eye on things.

    Thanks again
