    CPU

    I was wondering i have downloaded the latest motherboard specs for my motherboard, this was dated April 2001, and i have seen that there is currently an 800mhz celeron running at 100fsb on the net, just wondering if it would work on mine with the following specs

    Pentium III: Slot-1, 450~850MHz, FSB: 100MHz
    Pentium II: Slot-1, 350~450MHz, FSB: 100MHz;
    233~333Mhz, FSB: 66MHz
    SEPP Celeron: Slot-1, 266~433MHz, FSB: 66MHz
    PPGA/FCPGA Celeron: Socket-370, 300~766MHz, FSB: 66 MHz
    FCPGA Pentium III: Socket-370, 500~850GHz,
    FSB: 100MHz

    It doesn't say anything about being able to support celerons up to 800mhz and with a a 100fsb

    Re: CPU

    It would probably require a BIOS upgrade. Suggest you contact the m/board manufacturer to find out if there is one available that deals with this issue.
