    Hello,

    Searched the lounge and the help, and haven't found the secret. I want to load the following into a variable so that I can concatenate it with some more text:

    =CWIN32|Data!'CWEval|active|act("BT","LAMINA->

    Now, if I do it with quotation marks around it, as in:

    MyData="=CWIN32|Data!'CWEval|active|act("BT","LAMI NA->"

    I (obviously) get an error because it thinks the expression ends right before the BT, where the next quotation mark appears. So how do I enclose this expression, which really needs the quotation marks in it, so that I can load it into the variable MyData? I tried double quotes, and other odd combinations without getting lucky.

    Thanks for any help in this.

    You could try building the expression using chr(34) to replace the ""

    e.g. Instead of

    MyData="=CWIN32|Data!'CWEval|active|act("BT","LAMI NA->"

    Use

    MyData="=CWIN32|Data!'CWEval|active|act(" & chr(34) & "BT" & chr(34) & "," & chr(34) & "LAMINA->"
