Is anyone aware of any other functions from the Excel 4.0 macro language that still work?
    I know of two currently.
    Get.Cell
    Evaluate

All of them still work, provided they are on a xlm macro sheet. There are some that work in defined names as well, see:

    Nifty!
The previous and next sheet functions look handy as well as listing files in a directory.

I found the get.document function works in a range name and I particularly like the simplicity of =get.document(88) which returns the file name by itself - no path or sheet information.

I can almost get the LINKS function to work (in a range name)

Originally, I was looking at the PATTERNS/Edit.Series function - but they don't appear to work in a range name and if one has write the macro code, well I'd rather do it in VBA.

later: LINKS works like FILES, so by using a formula like =INDEX(links,ROW()), one can list the links.
