I just purchased windows 7 64 bit and I am going to install it on a second hard drive and have dual boot with my windows xp 32 bit.
I need a PCI internet card that will work with both 64bit and 32 bit and would like someone to suggest one for me to look at.
    Thank you

Thanks but that's not what I am looking for.

I'm not running wireless. Just need a new ethernet card that will allow me to connect to the internet with the 64 bit windows 7 or my 32 bit XP.

I have a multi-boot system which includes Windows 7 64 bit, Windows 7 32 bit and XP Pro 32 bit. My integrated (on the motherboard) ethernet card works in all 3 versions of Windows. I don't think the 32 bit versus 64 bit operating system is a factor in buying a new PCI ethernet card. Let's hear it if I am wrong folks.

Well Rich, I haven't installed Windows 7 64 bit yet but the Windows Upgrade Adviser reports that my current card is not compatible.
It's really an old card and not made anymore so there are no drivers for it.

Either way, I need a new card and want to make sure it will work with both XP 32 bit and Windows 7 64bit.

Thanks for your input. Every little bit helps.

Do a goggle search for ethernet cards. Not only will you be refered to Manufacturer sites, but review sites as well. The internet is a great resource for this type search.

Thanks for all your help but I got my onbard ethernet working so I won't have to get a card after all because my onboard is compatible with windows 7.
