Like the weather, there may be nothing we can do about it, but I would be interested to hear if anyone knows much of anything about the forthcoming xml problem. I see that my HP Webcam has a number of xml files, and there are a couple of them in Adobe's 'Goodies'. This has reminded me that I need to check HP for an updated Webcam setup for Windows 7 on one computer, and for all I know it may already be too late. Those who don't already have it might want to download the xml notepad, although it is presumably a dead end application in any case.

What forthcoming XML problem? XML is just text that your application interprets.

With a quick search I realized (and remembered) that it is only Word that is affected. One source of information is this link but a quick search will yield many others.
