Is there a way to export selected contacts to a csv file, on Outlook 2003?

Your best bet is to temporarily create a subfolder of the Contacts file, and copy the target contacts to it. The rest is easy, using built in menus: File | Import and Export | Export to a File | Next | Comma Separated Values (DOS or Windows) | Next | select the Contacts subfolder with the target Contacts | create the file name or browse to a file to be overwritten | Next | Finish. (If you have custom fields, you may choose to map them.)

A few days late, but you might Categorize your contacts first, then do an Advanced search, and search for all contacts with that category. Copy them all to the new folder and then do what John has suggested.

I've never used Categories. I'll give it a try.

Good Luck and post back. Without categories I would be lost well maybe not, but it sure makes Outlook a powerful tool
    Thanks John
