When I open Word a blank fax document automatically opens up. How do I get it to stop and open with just a blank document?

Generally, if you have no other customization set in Word, you can just close Word, find the file on your hard drive called normal.dot and rename it to abnormal.dot
Relaunching Word creates a new, clean normal.dot
