I am using OutLook 2003 and I need to import many e-mails adresses contained in a WAB file that I suppose was generated by OE.

I tried the Import and Export, Import Adresses and E-mails from Internet, Outlook 4xc, 5x, 6x option but it didn't work 'cause the WAB file was not recognized.

I would like to save these e-mails adresses in a specific new Contact folder.
    Any suggestions?

This is easiest done by installing OE on the same machine as the Outlook client. (You can uninstall it later if you wish. I leave it installed but delete all the menu and toolbar shortcuts to it.) See http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ou...919601033.aspx

However, I'm not sure if the process permits you to specify a specific target Outlook Contacts Folder; I recommend that you create the new Contacts Folder, activate it, start the import, and .

I forgot to tell that I'm using W7, so there is no OE available here.

You should be able to accomplish the same with Windows Live mail: http://download.live.com/wlmail and see http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...dows-live-mail

Well, it's not a simple thing.

I had Windows Live mail pre-installed on my machine but it didn't work because it is missing the file uxcontacts.dll

I downloaded a new Windows Live setup file (wlsetup-web.exe) and installed it. The problem still remained.

I searched this file in Google and found only 3 entries for this dll but I still could not download it.

I think I should better reset my machine in order to get better results and accomplish the task.

The Live installer checks to see if you already have various products installed and skips installed programs. Did you uninstall WLM first?
