I have read that it is best to do a clean install of Windows 7 and agree that it is best option. However, I have a new laptop with Vista installed from the factory and it has a few programs that are needed to make options of the laptop usable. The manufacturer has the drivers available for download but not those few programs. The programs I need are on the restore partition but I do not know how to access that partition from a clean install of Windows 7. I have done an upgrade and have the programs in the upgraded version of Windows 7. I need help to install those needed programs from the hidden partition into a clean install of Windows7. Your assistance is appreciated.
