    Thanks that is more or less what I ended up doing also. Just wondering if there was anything else.

    I essentially use the same technique that John referenced; that is, a hidden form that check for a log-out flag located in the backend and will kick-out a user after a suitable warning.

    The only problem is when a user has a msgbox or pop-up window open. This freezes the execution of the log-out form.
