Where does Win 7 currently save the restore points?
How do you change the place that Win 7 saves restore points?

    C:\System Volume Information

To my knowledge, there's no way to define it in any other place. This is a hidden system folder.

You can configure the space consumption through Control Panel>>System>>System Protection (on left)>>Configure

    Cheers!

The existence of Restore Points is configurable for each drive. Each Restore Point is stored on the drive to which it relates.
