Just got a new Dell machine with Windows 7 pre-installed. I've noticed that there is a Dell backup program on my Desktop. Is the Dell program any better or easier to use than Windows backup?

    Regards,
    Bruce

I have not used the Dell backup app, but I have used the Win 7 backup app. It is reasonably easy to use, but runs slow. A 3rd party app is much quicker and feature rich. I use Acronis True Image Home 2010. It costs some but I believe is worth it.

Thanks Ted! I've since purchased a copy of Acronis, and will use that. I've used Acronis before, and was happy with it. Thanks for the assessment of the Windows 7 backup.
