Hey Guy's, I have returned to ask of all you experts here a question I have about FireFox.

I have installed the latest version of FF and have been experiencing lately an annoying problem.

After having a session in FF then exiting, it doesn't seem to want to close out and wants to keep running

in the background. If I close it out and then restart, I get a message saying that it is already running ( or something to

that effect). The only way I can be sure FF closes is to end it with taskmanager ( which I shouldn't have to do).

This all seemed to begin after updating FF to its latest version. Could this be a problem within FF itself or could it

be a connection from a microsoft ( ie7 patch) update causing this glitch?

    Any advise or answers appreciated.

There are various possible causes, for example an add-on or plugin. For some troubleshooting options see Firefox hangs at exit (Mozilla KB) and Firefox hangs at exit (MozillaZine KB).

Thanks Tony, add ons and plugins did occur to me but I wasn't certain.

More than likely that one of the two may be the culprit (being I do run a few of both).
