I inserted a photo into a word document, and I set the text to wrap around it. Now I can only see a dashed outline around the picture, and the picture is invisible. I am using Word 2000, how can I fix this? Thanks.

In your options have you set the 'View Picture Placeholders' option?

Another possibility is the view you are using - floating objects may not appear in Normal view. Does it look the same in page layout view?

It beats me, but it works now. I just re-opened the document and I set the text to wrap around the photo, and I can still see the photo.
I really don't know why it was acting up before, but thanks for your help.
