Easysync

Hi Folks,
I have just installed Easy sync on my Laptop at work to sync my Vx with Lotus Notes. I have done one or two 'Syncs' with some success, but now find that when I try to back-up with the palm desktop on my own Laptop, everything is lost or corrupted. Can anyone help?

Cheers Dai

What versions are you using of both EasySync, and Lotus Notes?

Langman Technologies has a Sync Fixer is a program that fixes Hotsync problems caused by using a 3rd party conduit called Easysync to sync to your computer. After using Easysync, your Palm is left with 4 database files that will prevent you from being able to perform a Hotsync with any other program including the Palm Desktop. http://langman.netfirms.com/SyncFixer2.zip

Re: Easysync

I have a similar problem with a Palm V which I used to use with an IBM Laptop PC running W95. I connected to Lotus Notes 4.5 using EasySync, which worked quite well, then I left the company.

I connected it to another pc using the Palm Desktop software, where the problem started. I have since connected my Palm to my home PC running W98 and Desktop.

I now find I cannot sync Address, MemoPad and ToDo list either from Palm to PC or PC to Palm. The Datebook works apparently well. I am worried that I have no backup of some fairly important addresses and stuff, but haven't got the time to write them all down and Graffiti them back in if something goes wrong.

I have also tried using Pocket Mirror and Outlook and the same thing happens, which leads me to believe that it's something inside the Palm OS that's not right.

Any ideas? All gratefully received, before I seriously impair both Palm and PC in frustration... Thanks.
