From Outlook 2007, when I insert a hyperlink to a bookmark in a Word document, the hyperlink will open the document but not move to the bookmark. I'm using Insert | Hyperlink, selecting the document, then clicking the bookmark button on the right-hand side of the dialog box.

After Googling this, it appears that previous versions allowed bookmarks, 2007 may not, even though it's in the dialog box. Anybody know any details on this? If there another alternative?

    Thanks in advance.

I found several sources - example How to insert a Hyperlink in Outlook 2003 or 2007 - that seem to document how to do it in both 2003 and 2007. But you do have to be using the Word Editor in 2003 in order to do it - 2007 always uses Word to edit email. However I must confess that I have not tried it.
