This is a Dell PowerEdge 1500SC running Windows 2000 Server. It has 4 drive letters that respond with sizes, etc. Is there any easy way to determine how many physical hard disks are involved? I feel sure that some of the drive letters are assigned to multiple partitions on one drive.

    Thanks,
    Bill

    Disk Manager is your friend.
Right click on My Computer and select Manage. Click on Disk Management.
    Alternatively, Start > Run > diskmgmt.msc

    cheers, Paul

Thanks for that last bit of advice several days ago. I was able to use the Disk Manager to verify to my satisfaction that I have wiped all the disks on both servers I was working on. Sso, now I am finished with this task.

    Thanks,
    Bill
