    Hi All,

I would like to have a shortcut on my desktop that would start my screen saver asap. Can anybody give a hand in how to accomplish that task. I have my laptop on at night next to me and sometimes it would be handy to screen save rather than shut it for a couple minutes when its light is distracting. Thanks

You should be able to find most, if not all of your screensavers in the Windows\system32 folder (sort by type and find the .scr extention, or do a serch for them). Then all you do is right click on whichever ones you want a shortcut to and send to desktop...

    Hi Paul,

The Win + L takes me to my wallpaper not the screen saver of my choice. But thanks that is a handy way to get back to that.

    Hi Byron,

I did what you said and it worked like a charm. Now I have a dark screen when I want it with a minimum of key strokes. Thank you very much. And I will
remember that and use it for other customizing.

    Thanks again, Darell
