Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help me with this issue...I would like to change the windows-7 photo viewer application to the Windows Vista version as the Vista version has far more helpful options than the windows-7 version. I have located the Windows-7 photo viewer folder in C:/program files, but the EXE application file is not there. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

If you mean the Vista Photo Gallery program it has been replaced by Photo Gallery - Windows Live.

I believe he is talking about the native C: > Program Files (x86) > Windows Photo Viewer. If so, he is correct, the .exe is not in this folder. I believe there is a better option than the Vista or Win 7 Photo Viewer. The link I provided is just one alt.

Windows Live Photo Gallery is what I think you are referring to. It's available direct from Microsoft - just Google it.

Thank you Ted, I have tried that program you suggested and seems to be quite good.

Joe, I was refering to the Photo Viewer not the photo gallery, thanks.

Glad it worked for you. There are many others such as FastStone Image Viewer which is another popular viewer with forum members.
