In Windows XP there is an option in Windows Explorer in the Tools/Folder Options/General Tab in the Tasks section to select "Classic Folders." I am running Windows 7 Pro 64bit and cannot find any way to switch to "Classic Folders." Is there some way I can do this?

    Thanks

No, you can't. You'd have to have some third party solution. There are several suggestions in Experience with a Windows Explorer replacement? Windows Secrets Lounge.

What about choosing Small Icons (option in upper-right of Control Panel window)? It works for me.

    Hymer,
I don't think you can do it directly but maybe this indirect approach will work for you.
Step 1 go to the Start Menu and search for "Adjust Appearance & Performance". When you find it a window entitled "Performance Options" should appear. Select the tab "Visual Effects" and select the button "Adjust for Best Performance" , then hit "Apply"
Step 2 right click on the desktop, select "personalize". Down close to the bottom there should be a scheme for Windows Classic, ... Pick it

Now is that what you were looking for ???

That option no longer exists for Windows 7.
