    I am having a problem with the Memo field in my database. I have two memo fileds confiured the first one works are expected and retains the entered data. the second memo field allowes the required entrys but once saved and you come back to the selected record some of the memo field data has been truncated and the information lost.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated. PS MS Office version 2003

    If you have any input mask or formatting, it will treat the fields as a text field (255 characters).

    In addition to Mark's response, if you sort on that field or filter on that field, the result set will also be truncated to 255 characters.
