    For standard purposes we capture settings and deploy to all pcs via GPO policy settings

    In WordXP, we have used a combination of code on Word startup & GPO settings to set
    default track changes can be set and configured in menu
    Tools, Options..., Track Changes
    set colours for insertions and deletions.

    In Word 2007, the track changes settings arent in the location Office button, Options...
    To set default settings is it on the Review ribbon?

    Yes, on the Review tab, click on the Track Changes button and then 'Change Tracking Options' to display the Track Changes Options dialog.
