    Update: I found this...after three tries, it was the account setup that wasn't getting set properly.

    I can access all the e-mail in the PST file fine, but I can't send e-mail.

    I checked the account settings and everything seems fine. What could be causing this?

    If they are pop3 account, then you do NOT have the correct smtp settings.
    Some require a different port now than the defaults and also the Out going server may need to be checked in the tab of the "More Settings" area of EACH account.

    Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

    Dave, yes, there was a switch from port 25 to 587.
