HyperTerminal

I am getting very frustrated. We have a new Palm that we need to use here at work. We have info on it that we need to transfer to the computer and it says we need to do it via Hyper Terminal. I have tried 4 time to download it and it just come up as a Zip file and asking me to unzip it. The program and icon never come across looking like it is suppose too. HELP!

Have you unzipped the file? Winzip is available for free download from http://www.winzip.com.

yes, I unzipped it and it still didn't work. I actually ended up forwarding it from one system to another. Thank you anyway.

Hi
After you unzipped it to a folder, did you install it? Some of these Windows apps are either *.msi files or *.inf files. You have to RClick these and choose 'Instal' from the menu.

Sounds wierd. How do you mean, forwarded from one system to another? Ideally, unzipping your download should give you a setup program for the software, which you then run. What exactly happened for you? If you can remember step-by-step, it might be possible to work out what is going wrong.
