For the last two days, ever since I started receiving the daily digest, I've see a message from IE8. The message follows:

Internet Explorer Script Error - An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 272 Char: 1 Error: object expected URL: mhtml.mid://000000026/
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

I've clicked Yes both times. This occcurs when I first open the daily digest.

So Gmail or something web based? Basically, it's most likely a problem with the service you're getting your email from. Our emails go out in plain text and nothing in them could possibly trigger a script error.

But just in case, can you forward the last email you got to me so I can inspect it? tonyj at windows secrets dot com.

    Thanks

Forgive me Tony. When I went to my deleted items folder I discovered that the error didn't come on a Windows Secrets digest. I've been using this lounge so long that I jumped the gun and assumed that it was the right place to send a notice about the error.

    Am I forgiven?
