I have tried a number of ways of indexing the files I want to search for content but have been unable to find a method.
What is the correct method to search files on the C drive based on their content.
    Windows 7 64 Bit 12GB 3GB HDD.

    Hi and welcome

You need to make sure the entire drive is indexed and have the search contents (located in indexing control panel) turned on

    Hi Allen,

What exactly were you referring to when you posted in your system specs "12GB 3GB HDD" ?

    Thanks,
    Gerald
