Microsoft Reader is allegedly not supported under Windows 95, however I have found it installs normally under OSR2, also that if you copy the lit books manually into the "My Library" folder under "My Documents" it recognises the books and adds them automatically.

Readerworks do a Standard version of their EBook (lit) creator for free, except it will not install under Windows 95. I have found that as long as you have the Windows Installer installed on the system, then doubleclicking the msi file which is extracted to the temp folder on running the programme installer, installs the programme. Just make sure you don't click OK on the error message before running the msi file.
