    I have been delighted with the search function in Outlook (at least most of the time), and it has seemed faster and more complete in OL2010.

    Suddenly it has almost stopped working: it produces only one or two results, and those only if they are the most recent items in the mailbox being searched. It is as if there is some extra parameter being included inthe search filed relating to time of receipt, but there isn't (and when I try an advanced search to make this explicit, it still does not work).

    After three days without Search working, it has started working again without me changing anything consciously. Earlier today Outlook told me it was still indexing e-mails, and gave a partial search result, which suggests something had gone wrong with the index. But when I had checked after the problem first appeared, it told me everything was indexed.
