    Dear everybody,

I'm struggling to sort out what appears to be an unusual problem.

I've three PCs two running XP Pro, and on Vista Home premium.

All have either Gigabit networking cards, or onboard Gigabit chips.

The XP PCs will exchange data at a very healthy 25-30% network capacity, and similarly I can pull or push data from the XP PC to the Vista PC at a slightly lower 15-20% capacity.

Problem is that any push or pull of data from the Vista PC to either XP PC takes forever! 0.3% capacity for example.

Can anybody advise on how to possibly reset the Vista networking side, or maybe have a suggestion on how to fix.

Many thanks for all your support,
    D.

Do you have Vista SP-2 installed?

Do you have up-to-date drivers for your NIC on the Vista machine?

    Hi Joe,

Yes I've got the latest service pack on Vista, in fact every update.

I've also checked the NIC, and its at the latest level.

    Best regards,
    D.
