    I have just been posed this question and either the answer is NO, or I am having brain fade.
    Anyway.

    Column 1 is Generated with Rand and 2 with NormInv

    If ONLY Points are plotted, the curve looks ok as on left.
    If the line style is set to a solid line then the graph on the Right is generated.
    If the data is sorted the Orange Line will resemble the left chart if the points were joined in sequence.
    Is there any way to get this to happen without sorting the data?
    Since x is random it cannot be sorted.

    You can use a sorting column:

    Use your rand() in A (I will presume A20:A40)
    In B20 enter the formula:
    =SMALL($A$20:$A$40,ROW()-ROW($A$20)+1)
    On C20 base it on Col B
    =NORMINV(B20,12,6)

    Select B20:c20, and and copy it down.

    Now plot B and C points and line to get the "curve"

    As A is randomized, B sorts them and C gets the norminv from the sorted data...
