    im using a gateway P-7805u i upgraded to windows 7 i think the problem is caused by ready boost not sure how though

    that is not a lot of information to go on.
    What are the specs on the computer?
    What OS prior to upgrade.
    Please be more specific.

    I did Google that laptop, and saw that it came with 4G of RAM. If that is the case, then you shouldn't need ready boost.

    system specs on pic
    previous os vista
    atm im trying to get ready boost off the card but the computer freezes before i can
    if i put the card in write protect mode i can access the cards data that i transfered from my ps3 in the write mode the computer freezes when i try to do anything with the card

    If you have an external SD card reader that can plug into your computer via a USB port, try that. There has been mention about this problem on the internet for a while now and people have been able to read their SD cards using an external reader. It must be that Microsoft has changed the SD card drivers or something.
