    excel of office 2003

    hello everyone;
    when opening one excel some spreadsheet, i get a message to enable or disable its macros.
    tools>macro>macros does not show any existing macro, either in this sheet or any other workbook.
    tools>macro>security>security level is set to medium.; and trusted publishers is blank.
    i recall that once i was using acrobat WRITER 6.0 which is now uninstalled; and i believe this problem could be some trace of that instance.
    is it there any way to eliminate that message?
    thanks in advance for your assistance.

    Excel is generally not wrong and you have something in the file indicating there is a macro.

    Even if you have a module with no code in it, the presence of the module is enough to trigger the macro warning. Look in VB (Alt-F11) and check for (and remove) any unneeded modules. Also check the thisworkbook and the individual worksheets for any macro code.

    thanks Steve.
    Alt F11 did the trick.
    It showed some module which once removed eliminates the message.
    Thanks again
