    Copy & Paste (Win 98 Office 2000)

When I copy & paste something, the information that was copied is pasted into a narrower column. Example: the above sentence would be pasted in 3 lines instead of one. Is there some setting that should be changed? Thanks! Ken

    Hi Ken,

What application are you copying/pasting from and to?

From information received in a tip in Explorer mail (Outlook) to Edit Pad (replacement for Word Pad)

    Hi smokyken,

This isn't due to a setting, it's usually due to manual line breaks. You can clean it up in Word using a few different methods. This <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Formatting/CleanWebText.htm> article </A>outlines all of them, perhaps one will work for you. <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>
