Dim db As Database (Access 2000)

The Command "Dim db As Database" is not working anymore on Access 2000?

Access2000 defaults to ADO. You can either delete the reference to the ADO library, or you can open databases and recordsets specifically using DAO like this:

    Dim db as DAO.database
    Dim rs as DAO.recordset
