    Using WinZip with Excel/VBA (Winzip 7> Excel 97>)

    I have no where else to turn...

    I am trying to make a zipped copy of my workbook. WinZip says the code should look like:

    oWinZipApp = Shell(sPathToWinZip & "WINZIP32.EXE -a " & sShortPathToFileToAttach & _
    " " & sShortpathToZippedFile & "LOB_for_" & Format((Int(Date / 7) * 7) - 1, "YY-MM-DD") & _
    Right(csZipExtension, 4), vbMinimizedFocus)

    OK so this does not work and it tells me that there is nothing to do.

    oWinZipApp is Dimed as Variant, the other stuff are string constants or API functions that return strings.

    Thanks for anyone who can give me a hint.

    Adam

    Do you have any sample VBA code to work with PKZip?

    something like

    <pre>Shell "C:PKZIP myzip.zip mysheet.xls"
    </pre>

    should work

    (obviously the paths need to be changed according to you environment)
