I was looking at a shareware program which makes it easy for a large photo to appear across my dual LCD set up as wall paper. However when I started poking around with W7, I discovered that this is easy to set up without additional "tools" just by selecting TILED and choosing an image that is the right size.

My screens are 2x 1600x1200, i.e. 3200x1200. So I grab one or more of my own high res images, crop it and resize it to exactly 3200x1200 and then set it to wallpaper/tiled and hey Presto! it works.

Sometimes it may be a good idea to create the wall paper image by putting photos on the canvas with space left for the icons (on the left perhaps) and being aware of the LCD frames going down the middle. But you get the picture (ups, bad pun).

    Paul Hi and welcome

Nice Post and great idea. One less app to install and use resources. Thanks
