    I would like to know of a way to stop Outlook (Office 2007) starting up with Windows Vista; I prefer Thunderbird and don't use Exchange. I could uninstall I suppose, but think there must be some way of stopping it without that. Thanks.

    You can use the free tool Autoruns for Windows to manage what starts when you boot the PC. Look at the "Logon" tab.
