    Hi all,
I have to stop looking around in my Event Viewer..
    Vista Home Premium 32 bit.
This appears with every reboot but doesn't seem to affect the running of my system at all..
Just curious and to what it might be..

This link explains that OMCI is a utility by Dell that assists system administrators to remotely access client PCs. Unless you are on a network administered by someone else I suspect this is unneccesary. The link does provide info on this. A Google search for OMCI provides many links to read about this utility.

    Thank you Ted.
I had googled this, but apart from it being a Dell utility, I got lost in the technical stuff. It's good to know that it's not a problem.
