"I've not set a status" (it read). Then I clicked on which brought up a field for me to type something into.
Then I clicked on "cancel" (what was I supposed to type) (I didn't want to guess ie like "online", etc.)
if this is status as to "onboard and live in real time" versus "away from the computer" versus "offline" versus "online"
then why wouldn't it auto do this for me with perhaps a button clicker for "away from computer" and another to click for "I'm back"
I just realized I need to update. Can your server (appropriately) deal with Firefox 3.0.14 on Slackware 12.2 Linux? It's what I'm using. I hear Slackware 13.0 with Firefox 3.5 calling . . .

Status is simply a fun thing you can use to update your "onboard and real time" status to other users, kind of like facebook. Say you're making a cherry pie. You could type in that you're making a cherry pie in your status. Hope this helps.
