Start Menu

Located above 'Programs' in Start, one can add 'folders' and place various software programs. I can't remember how to do this. It is mainly for daughter's computer. She wants folder to read "Educational" - all learning software would be listed there...then 1 for HP stuff, then 1 for Utilities, etc.
Also, what would be the best way of getting those programs into the 'proper' folders?
She found this way of getting to the software easier than having them open up and stretching across the screen and 'hunting' for the program.

TIA

Start I Settings | Taskbar & Start Menu...
Advanced > Advanced
This will take you to an Explorer window and you can create folders and drag/copy shortcuts into them.
Depending on the operating system, you can either manually order the items in each folder or are stuck with aphanumeric ordering.

Thank you, Leif... took only 5 minutes to do...had them already sorted out on paper ! All 80+ goodies !
When I get home, I will have to check my stuff to see if anything can be done.
