    Hi,

I am using XP Pro. Is it possible to write a macro that will reside on the Desktop and, when executed, take me to a specific folder or file residing on
    an external drive?

    Thank you.

Why don't you just create a shortcut using Windows Explorer?

    Joe,

Thank you very much. I did not know that I was able to make such a shortcut. I have done so now, and it works excellently.
