    I can't create a System Repair Disc I got the message the parameter is incorrect in my DVD Drive. (0x80070057)

    64-bit?...Me too by the way, everything can see and use my DVD drive except Win7 64-bit (in my case I'm trying to make a bootable restore disc for a Win7-created image backup), which just sees it, so I'm riding piggyback on your post to hopefully learn more.

    Do your DVD drives have the latest driverss? I was able to create system repair disks for both Windows B/U and Acronis True Image Home 2010 when I switched to it. I do have to say that my PCs are newer and perhaps the drivers for your optical drives are not up to date. This is my only thought, sorry, I hope it helps.
