    Thumbs up

A capability question: we would like to put a series of PP slides onto a web site to train business people. We'd like the slides to be "catchy" and graphically entertaining. If we build in animations on the PP slides, will they work on a web site? Can you even do what we want to do with PP or should we be looking at a different way to get our content across in a more entertaining way?

Realize this is not exactly a technical question, but we're trying to determine the best way to go. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

You can convert a PPT presentation to HTML, see Put your Power Point on the Webbut I don't believe annimations always behave as expected. I am not an expert in this area, but I believe that most people who do this sort of thing convert the presentation to Flash. If you do a search on "Convert PPT to Flash" you will find all sorts of commercial products that will do that.

Thanks, Wendell. I found your link informative and it talked briefly about the Flash solution, as well as the html one and its limitations. Great site! Will research further into the Flash solution as you suggested. There's a lot to digest for a neophyte in this whole area!!
